   LJMU Cycling Club took part in a non-stop 24-hour ride last week, raising over £200 for the British Red Cross Ukraine Crisis Appeal.

4. LJMU celebrates winners of Paramedic Games 2022

   Current LJMU Paramedic Science students, Mathew Keegan, Emily Brown & Naomi Roberts have been named the winners of the Paramedic Games 2022 at LJMU.

5. Liverpool leaders share learnings from Reciprocal Mentoring

   The project, which began 14 months ago, saw leaders from across LJMU’s ELT paired with Black and ethnic minority Liverpool city leaders to share their lived experiences and inform policy and decision making at the university and beyond.

6. Reserves Day and Armed Forces Day 2023

   LJMU is marking both Reserves Day (Wednesday 21 June) and Armed Forces Day (Saturday 24 June) as part of its pledge to support the Armed Forces community under the Armed Forces Covenant.

8. Dr Alan Bury recognised for twenty year contribution to maritime education

   Dr Alan Bury, Senior Teaching Fellow from the School of Engineering has been awarded the Merchant Navy Medal for Meritorious Service by Her Royal Highness the Princess Royal.

9. Formula Student road to Silverstone explored in new 1823 Podcast

   In a special edition of the LJMU 1823 Podcast: The road to Silverstone, Dr Christian Matthews is joined by LJMU e-Racing Head of Team 2022, MSc student Cameron Reedy, and former Head of Team, Rhian Griffith, who now works as a mechanical engineer at the Small Robot Company.
