   Liverpool John Moores University has been awarded top 20 positions, across seven categories, in the StudentCrowd University Awards 2023

2. MA Student shortlisted for ‘Tourism Young Person of the Year’

   LJMU student Victoria Smith, 24 was shortlisted for the Tourism Young Person of the Year award at this years Liverpool City Region Tourist Awards 2022. The awards, that took place at Liverpool Cathedral, saw businesses and guests from across Liverpool celebrating the city regions tourism sector.

3. Silver award for support of the Armed Forces

   LJMU has received the silver award from the Ministry of Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) acknowledging how it provides support to the Armed Forces community.

4. New innovation support for city region businesses

   LJMU is a partner in a new programme to support and encourage businesses in the Liverpool City Region to increase innovation practice and investment in research and development.

5. Your LJMU, Your Voice: staff survey findings

   The results of the Your LJMU, Your Voice staff survey reveal that employees consider LJMU to be a good place to work but there are clear areas for improvement. More than 1,400 staff – over 53% of our workforce – took part in the survey in May to help the university learn more about the experience of working here.
