6. Milestone for National Schools' Observatory

   Secondary school pupils in Swindon, studying a supernova which exploded almost a 1,000 years ago, have entered the history books by requesting the 100,000th image from the National Schools’ Observatory (NSO).

7. Students raise money for sick children by completing NSS

   Final year undergraduate students have raised over £5,000 in just two weeks for Claire House Children’s Hospice by completing the National Student Survey.

   If you are an undergraduate student and are continuing on your course in September 2019, don’t forget to reapply for your student finance as soon as possible.

   The National Student Survey (NSS) launches this week for final year undergraduates. If you’re a final year student, you can help LJMU raise money for a local charity simply by taking a short survey.
