1. Majority of April and May exams to be held online

   Most exams in April and May 2022 will be held online. There are a small number of examinations which will be held in-person due to specific requirements of the professional body.

3. World Mental Health Day 2019

   World Mental Health Day on October the 10th is the annual global celebration of mental health education, awareness and advocacy. Throughout the week starting Monday 7th– Friday 11th October LJMU Student Advice and Wellbeing Services will be delivering a range of activities and raising awareness to celebrate good mental health and encourage us all to look at what we can do to maintain and promote positive wellbeing.

4. Race equality champion Lord Woolley visits LJMU-curated exhibition of Jamaican art

   Race equality champion and House of Lords crossbencher, Simon Woolley (Lord Woolley of Woodford), was a special guest at the LJMU-curated Jamaica Making exhibition.

   Our Money Advice Team answers how to reduce bills, how to stop condensation and what is the fair usage cap.

6. April/May exam timetable now live

   The next assessment period for LJMU students will take place from Monday 22 April to Friday 3 May 2024 (inclusive).

7. New animation brings ‘the Greatest Scot of all time’ Robert Burns back to life

   The team at LJMU Face Lab have created a ground-breaking new animated facial reconstruction of Robert Burns.

8. Dr. Emma Roberts, Reader in History of Art & Design, publishes article in Harvard University journal.

   Dr. Emma Roberts, Reader in History of Art & Design at Liverpool School of Art & Design, has published an article in the Harvard University journal, 'ReVista: The Harvard Review of Latin America'. The article discusses the important topic of public sculptures in the Caribbean on the theme of emancipation from slavery. 

9. Nautical Science graduate Antarctic bound

   LJMU Nautical Science graduate Robert Bellis has been named Maritime & Coastguard Agency Trainee Officer of the Year 2016, receiving his award from Shipping Minister John Hayes MP.

10. Christmas closure and support services over the festive break

    The university will close at 5pm on Thursday 23 December and reopen at 9am on Tuesday 4 January. The Student Life Building will be open 24/7 throughout the festive break including on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.
