6. Fab Lab Liverpool creates board games to support LJMU research

   Fab Lab were commissioned by LJMU’s Research and Innovation Services to support two different projects, one to help students develop their research proposals and one that shines a light on the probation service.

7. Educate North Awards 2016

   LJMU won two categories at the Educate North Awards 2016 and was highly commended for another project.

8. PHI continues status as WHO Collaborating Centre for Violence Prevention

   World Health Organization (WHO) has confirmed that LJMU’s Public Health Institute (PHI) will continue to be recognised as a WHO Collaborating Centre for Violence Prevention.

9. LJMU presented with silver award for support of the Armed Forces community

   The university was celebrated alongside other Northwest-based organisations for its commitment to the Armed Forces community at the Defence Relationship Management (DRM) Merseyside Silver Awards 2023.

10. LJMU to launch climate and sustainability research institute

    LJMU is to launch a new research institute to bring together and accelerate world-leading research around climate and sustainability.
