    Tag-Art is Nicola Taggart's mural and art workshop business. Nicola worked with the Centre for Entrepreneurship when starting her business venture.

  2. Global Internship Programme – Work abroad

    For summer 2019, LJMU will be sending students on 2 month internships in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and Melbourne, Australia. The scheme covers flights, accommodation, insurance, work experience, networking events and might include trips or social activities too!

  3. Race Equality Charter

    Liverpool John Moores University joined the Race Equality charter in 2022 and was first presented with an Institutional Bronze Award in 2022, in recognition of ongoing work relating to race equality.

  4. Positive Action Training

    Find out more about the positive action training scheme that helps LJMU employ more local people of colour.

  5. LGBTQI+ Flags

    In 1978 gay rights activist Gilbert Baker created the first Pride flag with the goal of it being a symbol for everyone. Since then many new flags were created to represent all communities within the LGBTQI+ community.

  6. Student support schemes

    LJMU has introduced a new scheme to provide vouchers for students to buy laptops to support their studies. Students are also able to apply for support with the cost of their data allowance.

  7. Ray Riley

    Ray joined Elder Dempster Lines when he was just 16. Ray worked in Hamburg, before returning to Liverpool to marry. Listen to Ray's interview.

  8. LJMU Wellbeing Week

    Wellbeing Week, which runs every year provides an opportunity for staff and students to try out new approaches to staying healthy and happy; from yoga to music, knitting to meditation. See the programme of activities from Wellbeing Week 2021.
