1. Start-up Hub

   The Start-up Hub helps students and graduates start a business. We offer funding, business advice and training. We also have networking events and workshops.

2. Bathgate Boost Award

   Thanks to our partnership with the Bathgate Group Ltd, LJMU are able to offer a £500 award to current LJMU students for fledgling start-up ventures based in the Liverpool City Region and the Northwest.

4. Webrevolve

   Webrevolve is James Rowan's digtial agency. James worked with the Centre for Entreprenurship to start his business venture.

5. Volunteering and Summer Opportunities Fair - 9 February, 12-3pm, Student Life Building

   At our Volunteering and Summer Opportunities Fair, we'll have charities, businesses and organisations from across the UK and overseas from various sectors. Some are looking for volunteers, others are offering paid summer opportunities, including Go Global schemes like Camp America.

6. Careers and start-up support for our Alumni

   The Student Futures Team offer free lifetime support to our LJMU Alumni. Find out more about our services, how to use our online careers platform, how to stay connected to the university via LJMU connect, and about Graduate Outcomes.

7. Green Careers and Sustainability Insights

   It is a great time to be interested in the green sector, as green jobs are growing at around four times the rate of the overall UK labour market.

8. Get involved and get green with Student Futures

   Student Futures would like to bring LJMU students a range of careers talks, workshops and activities around the themes of Sustainability and Green Jobs.

9. Finding jobs in the green sector

   In 2023, LJMU ran their first Green Skills and Jobs Fair, inviting a range of organisations to meet LJMU students and graduates.
