The second round of paid Discovery Internships this semester are open until midnight on Sunday 17 December 2023. Interviews will take place before the end of January 2024 and the internships will begin from early February 2024 (start dates may vary for each role).
LJMU graduate, doctoral researcher and US Soccer sport scientist Patrick Mannix shared his expert insight with students as he returned to his educational roots in the city.
The results of the Your LJMU, Your Voice staff survey reveal that employees consider LJMU to be a good place to work but there are clear areas for improvement. More than 1,400 staff – over 53% of our workforce – took part in the survey in May to help the university learn more about the experience of working here.
The scheme provided by Unum Dental is an insurance policy available to LJMU staff, apply by 31 Jan 2024.
Biomechanics team conduct vital research
The celebrating cultures event this year had India, China, Canada, Pakistan, Colombia, Nepal, England, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Lesotho, Scotland, Vietnam, Nigeria, Indonesia, Greece, Italy, Bangladesh, Switzerland, Iran, Somalia and Brazil being represented. Following this event, an international student wrote a reflection on their experience in participating.
