LJMU is proud of its place in Liverpool and we are at the beating heart of almost everything that happens in the region. However, with that presence comes a responsibility to be mindful and aware of our potential impact. Postgraduates curate more than 2.700 films for annual Paper Bird awards

A mini-conference highlighting developments in decolonial approaches to teaching and research across the university featuring three sessions of talks and discussion on decolonising pedagogy, assessment and research methods, will take place in November.
World Mental Health Day on October the 10th is the annual global celebration of mental health education, awareness and advocacy. Throughout the week starting Monday 7th– Friday 11th October LJMU Student Advice and Wellbeing Services will be delivering a range of activities and raising awareness to celebrate good mental health and encourage us all to look at what we can do to maintain and promote positive wellbeing.
MA Wildlife Conservation students Vanessa Grundy, 27 and Alex Donnelly, 27 along with Vanessa's brother Mike Grundy are currently at the Poland-Ukraine border helping refugees get to safe accommodation in Krakow, and further across Europe, following Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
The main University examinations will take place between 27 April - 7 May 2020.
