   After consideration of all applications to the University Funded Diversity and Inclusion Scheme, the projects to receive funding have been announced.

   A key initiative to put nature at the centre of planning policy across the Liverpool City Region has been shortlisted for a prestigious national award.

6. Student Life and Sports Building win Best New Build Project award

   LJMU’s Copperas Hill development has won an award for the Best New Build Project at the Merseyside Civic Design Awards.

7. National award for LJMU libraries

   LJMU’s Library Service has received national recognition for the support it offers to students.

8. Launch of LJMU Innovation Programme

   LJMU is launching a new programme to support staff in developing successful innovation and business concepts.

9. LJMU announces Honorary Fellowships for July Graduation

   The prestigious titles are awarded to those who have made an outstanding contribution to society, or an outstanding achievement by an individual in a given field, resonating with the ethos of the University and the city of Liverpool.

10. Changes in Core Café opening times: Tuesday 31 October

    Due to the passing of one of LJMU’s much loved catering team members, there will be several changes to Core Café opening hours across the day on Tuesday 31 October
