   LJMU is a partner in a new programme to support and encourage businesses in the Liverpool City Region to increase innovation practice and investment in research and development.

   The Organisational Development teams’ LJMU Leadership Enhancement And Development (LEAD) programme has added another two workshop sessions.

4. Teaching student creates new braille for her visually-impaired pupils

   Enterprising Jade Smith, from St Helens on Merseyside, says the pre-braille method is already being used by youngsters in Liverpool, Lancashire, London, Wales and even in Missouri, in the US.

5. Aldham Robarts Library to remain closed on Sundays until end of 2023

   Staff and students can access alternate library services at the Student Life Building or visit the Avril Robarts Library on Sundays.

6. Postgraduate students – you could win £100 by completing a quick survey

   Could you spare a few minutes to complete a survey about your studies? Your answers to the questionnaire will help us to learn more about what we are doing well and where we could make changes and you will be entered into a prize draw with a chance of winning a cash prize.

7. NSS charity donation reaches £4,900

   Our final year students have raised a fantastic £4,900 for charity in the first two weeks of the National Student Survey (NSS) 2020.

8. Level 5 and Level 6 students - share your views for a chance of winning £100

   Could you spare a few minutes to complete a survey about your studies? The UK Engagement Survey (UKES) is a national survey asking students to comment on your engagement with different kinds of learning activities.

9. Are you ready for National Student Money Week?

   During week commencing Monday 3 February 2020, LJMU will be taking part in National Student Money Week. The theme for this year is 'Spend Healthy, Live Healthy: Sustainable Money' and during the week we will focus on reducing waste and saving money.
