The athletes who turned to academia
Dutch men and Latvian women are the tallest on the planet, according to the largest ever study of height around the world. The research group, which included LJMU’s Dr Lynne Boddy, conducted the study using data from most countries in the world, tracking the height of young adult men and women between 1914 and 2014.
For the past year, teachers from eight primary schools across the Liverpool City region and South Sefton area have participated in a CPD programme, led by experts at LJMU, to increase confidence and self-efficacy in the teaching of science
LJMU has been a trailblazer in the inclusive sport of Para Pentathlon, so much so that the Para Laser element of the event has been added to the Invictus Games.
