1. Race equality champion Lord Woolley visits LJMU-curated exhibition of Jamaican art

   Race equality champion and House of Lords crossbencher, Simon Woolley (Lord Woolley of Woodford), was a special guest at the LJMU-curated Jamaica Making exhibition.

2. Masters in Art and Design Degree Show: Class of 2020 show their enterprise

   Around 40 students will exhibit their ideas from MA courses in Fine Art, Graphic Art and Illustration, Art in Science, Fashion Innovation and Realisation and Exhibition Studies.

   Dr Emma Murray, Reader in Military Veteran Studies at LJMU and Criminologist-in-Residence at FACT has been a long-term collaborator on the project.

   Julia Midgley: Bicentenary Sketchbook - A Window on LJMU's 200th Anniversary Year will go on public display from Monday 18 March for an extended run until Friday 5 April at the John Lennon Art and Design Building.

5. Graphics alumna commissioned for high profile arts campaign

   Graphic Design and Illustration alumna, Lauren McLardy has been commissioned to create a new piece of work for Coventry City Council to mark World Mental Health Day 2020.

6. Poignant and unique artistic record of LJMU's Bicentenary year goes on display

   Julia Midgley: Bicentenary Sketchbook - A Window on LJMU's 200th Anniversary Year is now on display for an extended run until Friday 5 April, at LJMU’s John Lennon Art and Design Building.

7. Liverpool College of Art alumni reminisce at Bicentenary year documentary screening

   A film charting the history of Liverpool College of Art, today’s Liverpool School of Art and Design, was screened at a special event attended by more than 50 alumni of the college and university.
