Could your team offer a work experience placement?

Unlock Opportunities for Year 10 Pupils

LJMU’s work experience programme is looking for expressions of interest from staff and teams across the university for a Year 10 pupil to undertake a placement within your department.
The placements would be undertaken for one or two weeks during May, June or July 2024 and we welcome participation from all areas across the university, both academic and professional services teams.

Why participate in the Work Experience Programme?

This is an opportunity to empower a young person to explore diverse career paths within LJMU and showcase your department's impact. Work experience provides invaluable insights, confirming career choices or unveiling new possibilities.
The work experience opportunities are in collaboration with the Diversity and Inclusion team and the Outreach Team, partnering with widening access schools. Through the team’s support they will identify pupils suitable to seize this unique opportunity with LJMU.

Interested in your team offering work experience?

Submit the Expression of Interest form by Thursday, 15 February.
