   The festival returns for its third edition, featuring 42 films from across the globe that showcase the work of the best and brightest emerging student filmmakers.

5. Immersive museum performances by LJMU drama students a triumph

   Drama students performed three consecutive performances last month at the Western Approaches Museum as part of the Battle of the Atlantic 80th anniversary commemorations, which culminate this May across Liverpool.

6. Ten students spend life changing summer in Nepal

   The ten students and now LJMU graduates, visited Nepal for a month-long Turing funded trip, working on the Dignity Without Danger (DWD) research project.

7. MA Art in Science students present at World Museum Liverpool

   Art in Science master’s students from Liverpool School of Art & Design have recently collaborated with World Museum Liverpool curators to present ‘A New View: Silica’; a temporary exhibit in the museum foyer’s display case.

8. Apply to study abroad

   Applications for LJMU’s study abroad programme are now open. Students can apply to spend either one semester or an academic year abroad at one of LJMU’s partner institutions across the globe.

9. Students visit textiles and life conference

   MA Fashion Innovation and Realisation students: Joshua Marriott, Macarena Morilla Dominguez and Courtney Hammond presented research posters based on their MA proposals.

10. Black History Month through the eyes of a local Liverpool pupil

    This month Ceana Khonje, a local pupil from Belvedere College in Liverpool took on a work experience placement here at LJMU.
