  2. Global Citizen (Volunteering) - Go abroad

    The LJMU Go Global fund allows students to undertake international projects, from existing programmes such as Camp America or TEFL (teaching English as a foreign language) courses, to individual projects students have designed themselves.   3. Professor Zara Quigg

    Professor Zara Quigg is one of the youngest professors at LJMU and a behavioural epidemiologist at our Public Health Institute. Her zeal and energy have placed her at the heart of the fight for better public health here on Merseyside.

    Jack is an LJMU graduate, who as someone living with a disability, has found great support during his studies and fantastic mentors at the university.

  5. Selma Bazara

    While working as a social media executive and studying at LJMU for her MA in Human Resource Management, Selma became an internet sensation starring alongside LFC manager Jurgen Klopp for the club’s kit launch. As a result, she has helped to raise the profile of fellow young Muslim women from both the Liverpool and football fan communities.

  10. Ebenezer Banahene

    Ebenezer is a senior lecturer in adult nursing and was recognised by the Royal College of Nursing for his work in supporting refugee nurses to obtain registration in the UK and to work for the NHS.
