   Colleagues from the across the university have this week come together to begin scoping out the proposed new LJMU climate institute.

4. Join the alumni mentoring program

   LJMU Connect has launched the LJMU Mentoring Group to enable students, staff and alumni to develop meaningful mentoring connections within our LJMU community.

5. Alumni return to Liverpool Screen School with top TV production company

   Three LJMU Screen School alumni recently visited current film studies students to share their experience of working in TV and film production.

6. Update: LJMU Induction Week and Freshers 2022

   Monday 19 September will be a Bank Holiday for all students

7. Menopause cafe to mark World Menopause Day

   Join us on Wednesday 18 October as we mark World Menopause Day and host our final staff cafe of the year.

8. Improvement works at John Foster Building

   Next month (June 2022), we will begin a programme of improvement works to John Foster Building, which means it will be closed for a period over the summer.

9. LJMU Climate Research Institute

   Staff are invited to attend a second workshop focussed on the proposed LJMU Climate Research Institute. It follows the successful design sprint session held in December, in which colleagues with research interests in the area met to begin scoping out the planned institute.
