Following a recent review of LJMU staff car parking provision, the university will continue to subsidise staff car parking until 31 August 2023.
This month Liverpool will play host to a swathe of commemorative events marking its links with WWII’s Battle of the Atlantic, 80 years on. LJMU’s staff and students across its Drama, History and Maritime programmes will play a role in marking this milestone anniversary
‘Breaking Ground’ saw internationally-renowned architect Daniel Libeskind discuss the inspiration behind some of the world’s most iconic buildings, including the reconstruction of the World Trade Center, the Jewish Museum in Berlin and Manchester’s Imperial War Museum.
LJMU lifted the Outstanding University Entrepreneurship Award trophy at this year’s Times Higher Education Awards.
The university will continue to subsidise staff car parking until 31 August 2024.
The three free performances will take place on Wednesday 24, Thursday 25 and Friday 26 May at 7.30pm at the John Foster Drama Studio.

LJMU is one of 15 teams to win the Collaborative Award for Teaching Excellence (CATE) and an LJMU academic has also been awarded one of 54 National Teaching Fellows (NTF). Dr Philip Denton, Principal Lecturer at the School of Pharmacy and Biomolecular Sciences, is the recipient of the NTF and the paramedic team at LJMU’s Schools of Nursing and Allied Health received the CATE.
