1. New hub of wellbeing events for students and staff

   We've launched the ‘Looking after your wellbeing’ event hub on the LJMU website to bring together all the different events happening across the university and help you look after your wellbeing.

2. Liverpool School of Art and Design will host its first art-science showcase after being awarded prestigious Leonardo LASER status

   The first LASER session will focus on the theme of faces and identity with presentations on facial skin growth, forensic art and cosmetic surgery.

3. Digital media and content production CPD courses

   Staff looking to reskill, retrain or advance their skills in digital media and content production may be interested in one of our Screen School’s short courses.

4. Technicians survey: your skills, your roles, your responsibilities

   We are working with the National Technician Development Centre (NTDC) to better understand our technical workforce.

5. Harnessing the power of staff networks

   Save the date for the launch of our latest group, the PA and Admin Staff Network, on Thursday 8 February, featuring a guest talk from staff networks expert Cherron Inko-Tariah.

7. Students gain insight into world of international boxing

   Students from the School of Sport and Exercise Sciences, Liverpool Screen School and Liverpool Business School gained real-world insight into professional boxing and PR with a campus visit from worldwide boxing promoters Matchroom and boxer Peter McGrail.

8. Technicians survey 2024 now open

   The National Technician Development Centre (NTDC) Technicians Survey at LJMU is now open for responses until Friday 22 March.

9. MA Art in Science students present at World Museum Liverpool

   Art in Science master’s students from Liverpool School of Art & Design have recently collaborated with World Museum Liverpool curators to present ‘A New View: Silica’; a temporary exhibit in the museum foyer’s display case.

10. Over 500 staff and students attend Students at the Heart Conference 2023

    Covering everything from AI to alumni, 70 plus sessions were delivered by 200 staff and students across the two-day event.
