1. Enhancements to 'See My Tutor'

   Changes to the See My Tutor system include a new landing page, enhancements to appointment booking, and the ability for tutors to capture and share notes from the meeting

2. Graduation dates announced for March 2023

   Our next graduation ceremonies are now scheduled to take place between Monday 27 – Wednesday 29 March 2023

3. New Academic Achievement teaching resources

   Each of these resources is a standalone academic skills class accompanied by a full lesson plan with teaching notes.

   Your fantastic new Pavilion at Aldham Robarts Library is now open.

5. Coffee and Connections

   The next Coffee and Connections event takes place on Thursday 12th September at Exchange Station from 8.15am.

6. Volunteer for Claire House

   Our corporate charity Claire House is looking for volunteers on Saturday 29 February and Sunday 1 March at the welcoming of HMS Prince of Wales on the Liverpool Waterfront.

7. Ethnically diverse and Ethnic minority to substitute the BAME Acronym across LJMU

   Following a university wide survey and subsequent focus groups, ethnically diverse or ethnic minority are to replace the use of BAME across the university.

8. LJMU and Merseyside Police Embark on Joint Venture

   Liverpool John Moores University and Merseyside Police have agreed a project to assess the feasibility of a Joint Academy. The University and the force have been working together for the past ten years to strengthen ties between academic study and policing.

9. Competitive football players have superior vision, LJMU-led study suggests

   A new study lead by LJMU has found that the visual abilities of competitive football players are substantially better than those of healthy non-athletes.
