1. Long service staff celebrate milestones

   Long service staff who have worked at the university for over 25 years were celebrated at an event at the Hilton, Liverpool last week.

3. Registration for the Students at the Heart Conference 2023 is now open

   This year’s Students at the Heart Conference will take place on Wednesday 7 and Thursday 8 June and you can now register for sessions and workshops.

4. Lunar New Year celebrations at LJMU and across Liverpool

5. Students at the Heart Conference 2023 submissions now open

   Submissions from across the LJMU community and our partner organisations are now being sought for the 2023 conference taking place in June.

6. Disability History Month: What's happening at LJMU and support available

   Disability History Month runs between 16 November and 16 December 2023 and it is an opportunity to reflect on the past and create positive change for the present and the future.

7. Success for Team LJMU at BUCS Tournament

   Team LJMU has won three events at the British University and Colleges Sport Tournament earlier this month.

8. New hub of wellbeing events for students and staff

   We've launched the ‘Looking after your wellbeing’ event hub on the LJMU website to bring together all the different events happening across the university and help you look after your wellbeing.

9. Applications now open for Advance HE Aurora Programme 2024

   Applications are now being taken for a leadership development initiative for women.

10. Support for transgender and non-binary students

    We now have dedicated information on our student support webpages, for transgender and non-binary students, to find out how to get help and support while at university, as well as requesting a name change via LJMU.
