   Open exhibitions curated by LJMU students at the John Lennon Art and Design building for two weeks

4. Presenting the past to the public

   Research at LJMU is working on ways of presenting the past and creating content for historic sites and museums across Ireland and the rest of the globe.

5. Empower Programme for students on the Autism spectrum

   The NHS Merseyside Health Sector Career and Engagement Hub is running the Empower programme - a pre-employment transition workshop for second and final year LJMU students on the Autism spectrum.

6. Professional Services Staff Governor Elections

   Five candidates have put themselves forwards for the position and voting will take place between Monday 13 and 27 March.

7. Academic Staff Governor Elections

   Following the call for nominations, eight candidates are standing for election, with the election period opening on Monday 5 June and running until Monday 19 June.

8. ITV bosses work with LJMU students

   Top bosses at ITV were back in the Liverpool Screen School recently running two days of workshops with undergraduate and postgraduate students as part of the ITV Northern Lights Partnership.

9. Celebrating Cultures Event

   The celebrating cultures event this year had India, China, Canada, Pakistan, Colombia, Nepal, England, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Lesotho, Scotland, Vietnam, Nigeria, Indonesia, Greece, Italy, Bangladesh, Switzerland, Iran, Somalia and Brazil being represented. Following this event, an international student wrote a reflection on their experience in participating.

10. Screen School students scoop Royal Television Society award

    A comedy-horror film produced by students at the LJMU Screen School has been named the winner in the Comedy Entertainment category at the Royal Television Society North West Student Television Awards.
