   Visitors heard about the latest admissions policies revealed during an informative Q&A admissions panel, in addition to participating in a session delivered by several LJMU students from Northern Ireland who talked about life at LJMU.

6. LJMU and LCR collaboration creates 44 apprentices for autism charity

   LJMU has collaborated with LCR to transfer £132,000 of unspent Apprenticeship Levy to Autism Initiatives, funding 44 new apprentice care workers for the charity.

9. Policing students become 'nighttime guardians' for safer streets in Merseyside

   The development of the ‘guardian project’ will see LJMU student volunteers be trained alongside street pastors to provide support, to those who need it, in Liverpool’s night-time economy, such as helping people get home or providing emotional support.

10. LJMU host 59th Annual Associated Schools of Construction International Conference

    Hosted outside of the USA for only the second time in the conference's history, more than 170 delegates gathered in Liverpool for the three-day event.
