1. LJMU on hand to ease NHS burden on endoscopy demand

   Gastrointestinal (GI) endoscopy in the UK is at its highest and continues to rise, LJMU is now aiming to meet this gap in patient need by supporting the delivery of a new course.

2. Sensor City moves into Liverpool Science Park ahead of launch

   Liverpool’s Sensor City project has moved into Liverpool Science Park (LSP) ahead of the opening of its official home at Copperas Hill in 2017. Established hi-tech sensor businesses, start-ups and graduate entrepreneurs from across the region will be able to get access to leading experts and world-class research from the field of sensor technologies and learn more about how they can benefit from Sensor City in the run up to the building’s opening in July 2017.

   The first exhibition of wholly Jamaican art to be displayed in North-West England will find its home in Liverpool this spring. The exhibition has been curated by Dr Emma Roberts, Associate Dean for Global Engagement for the Faculty of Arts, Professional and Social Studies at LJMU.
