   LJMU welcomed nearly 300 staff to the third Research and Innovation Day at the Royal Court on 20 June.

3. PCC praises LJMU for raising awareness of domestic abuse support

   LJMU are signed up to the Domestic Abuse Workplace Scheme, led by the Police and Crime Commissioner's office, and more workplace champions are being sought.

4. Christmas closure and support services over the festive break

   The university will close at 5pm on Thursday 23 December and reopen at 9am on Tuesday 4 January. The Student Life Building will be open 24/7 throughout the festive break including on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.

5. LJMU student hosts public engagement event at Tate Liverpool to break the stigma of homelessness

   Narratives of Homelessness will be running at Tate Exchange in Liverpool from Monday 5 March – Saturday 10 March from 12.00 – 3.30pm

6. LJMU launches University Funded Diversity and Inclusion Scheme

   LJMU is providing grants to academic staff, students, and professional services staff, to work on research across the university related to Diversity and Inclusion.

10. College students enjoy stay in Liverpool and university experience

    At the beginning of July, nearly 100 Year 12 students from Northern Ireland, Wales and across the rest of England took part in a three-day residential visit to LJMU to experience all that the university has to offer.
