    Situated in the Faculty of Technology and Environment, the Mechanical Engineering and Materials Research Centre (MEMARC) conducts research into mechanical engineering, materials, applied mathematics, as well as dynamics and control areas.

  2. LOOM

    Liverpool Logistics Offshore and Marine Research Institute (LOOM) is a leading research unit in marine, offshore and transport studies. LOOM's research interests include: 3D-simulation of logistics movement, evolutionary algorithms and optimisation, formal Ship safety assessment, human and organisational error studies and logistics supply chain studies.

  3. Machine Learning

    The Machine Learning Research Group conducts applied and theoretical research. Our work includes computer-based decision support, sports analytics and computational marketing.

  4. Expertise in Electrical and Electronic Engineering

    The Electrical and Electronic Engineering Research Centre have several research groups; the Applied Forensic Technology Research (AFTR) Group, the Control and Logistics Group, the Industrial Design Group, the Electric Machines and Drives Group, the Microelectronics Research Group and the Sensors and Communications Group.
