   This March is Student Voice Month and we are asking staff to encourage all students to share their feedback and suggestions about studying at LJMU.

2. Shakespeare in a nutshell

   Shakespeare; creative genius, wordsmith and innovator, was also a man of the people. His influence on the English language has stood the test of time, and lines such as ‘in a nutshell,’ ‘mum's the word,’ ‘eaten out of house and home,’ ‘all's well that ends well" and ‘a wild goose chase’ are just some of those in common, everyday usage.

3. Professor welcomes international delegates as ECSS President

   LJMU’s Professor of Exercise Physiology is also the incumbent President of the European College of Sport Science, and recently welcomed around 2,800 delegates from across the globe to the annual congress, this year held in Vienna.

4. Changes to Harvard LJMU Referencing

   From the start of the 2024/25 academic year the institutional style for Harvard referencing is changing from Harvard LJMU to Harvard Cite Them Right.

5. LJMU donates 3,000 items to ease city's 'furniture poverty'

   LJMU has been helping to end furniture poverty for hundreds of local groups.

7. Career Tips: How to make the most out of the Final Year Support and Jobs Fair

   The Final Year Support and Jobs Fair takes place on Wednesday 21 February from 11am to 2pm at the Student Life Building and is aimed at final year students who want to get a head start on graduation and take care of their next steps. These are our tips on how to make the most of the fair.

9. How can staff enhance the student experience? ‘Make every contact count’

   More than 120 staff from across the university attended an engagement workshop on prioritising the student experience.

10. LJMU Wellbeing Week 11th – 15th March.

    We have a full week of activities which draw attention to the importance of wellbeing and provides an opportunity for staff and students to try out new approaches to staying healthy and happy.
