   LJMU has received the bronze award from the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) acknowledging how we provide support to the Armed Forces community.

   LJMU has secured an exceptional outcome in its recent Higher Education Review by the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA), becoming the first university to receive two commended judgements.

5. Disability History Month at LJMU

   Disability History Month begins today (16 November – 16 December) and our Disabled Staff Network, EDI team and JMSU will be hosting an event on Friday 2 December.

6. We want your views as LJMU apply for Athena Swan Silver accreditation

   LJMU is applying for Silver-level Athena Swan accreditation and want to hear your views on working at LJMU.

7. Get vaccinated on campus this October

   Female students aged 18 to 25 can get a HPV or MMR vaccine at Byrom Street, Monday to Saturday from 14 to 26 October.

9. Northern Ireland Applicant Day

   On Saturday 2nd March, LJMU held its annual Northern Ireland Applicant Day in the Hilton Hotel Belfast.

10. LJMU launches pioneering scheme with senior Black leaders from across the Liverpool City Region

    The launch of the programme, yesterday evening at Liverpool John Moores University, saw the 26 leaders finding out who they had been paired with.
