6. Curator joins LJMU for curating the web research project

   Curator joins LJMU's School of Art and Design Exhibition Research Lab for a 12 month research project.

8. In memoriam: Caroline Chinn

   It is with great sadness that the university announces the death of Caroline Chinn following a long illness.

9. Student Spotlight: Abbie Romano

   The representations of women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) roles is improving, but there’s work to be done. As of 2018, WISE Campaign (Women into Science and Engineering) announced that the UK is on track to have one million women working in the field by 2020. These statistics are encouraging, and demonstrate an improvement in opportunities shown to young women who pursue the career path.
