The LJMU MA Short Film Festival runs this week until Friday 31 March.
The prestigious titles are awarded to those who have made an outstanding contribution to society, or an outstanding achievement by an individual in a given field, resonating with the ethos and values of the university and the city of Liverpool.
Two recent studies, focused specifically on elite female players, conducted by LJMU's Research Institute of Sports and Exercise Sciences (RISES), are helping the national the team to better understand the nutritional requirements of their female players.
