   Staff looking to reskill, retrain or advance their skills in digital media and content production may be interested in one of our Screen School’s short courses.

   All grant funded projects and knowledge exchange projects must be recorded on the GaP system from April 2020

3. LJMU postgraduate Sport Psychology programme first of only three in country to gain BASES accreditation

   The School of Sport & Exercise Sciences at LJMU is one of only three universities to have its MSc Sport Psychology course accredited by professional body, the British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences (BASES).

4. New website course search function

   This week marks the launch of an exciting new development to our website. A project group have been working with an external agency (Sagittarius) to improve the course search function.

5. International learning experience at Virtual Global Citizens Conference 2020

   Delegates from all round the world participated in the LJMU Virtual Global Citizens Conference between 11-12 November 2020. They discussed seven adapted UN Sustainable Development Goals.

6. Criminology students visit Slovenia for international crime and harm reduction discussions

   Students and staff from the Criminology Department, School of Justice Studies recently spent a week in Ljubljana, Slovenia to discuss crime and harm reduction with a range of governmental and non-governmental organisations.

8. LJMU policing programmes "a model for the UK"

   Merseyside’s Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) has described LJMU’s extensive education programmes in policing as “a model for the UK”.

9. LJMU train 40 Mersey Care matrons and nurses in anticipatory and advanced care planning

   Helping patients across Merseyside to be involved in the planning of their future treatment and care.

10. Scholarships for people of colour on policing course

    Opportunities for people of colour in specialist policing roles including counter-terrorism are being made available thanks to a partnership involving Liverpool John Moores University.
