Students improved employability skills through COIL project
LJMU hosted a heat of the Historical Association’s Great Debate 2024 public speaking competition, welcoming four schools on to campus.
In 1984, there were 14 per cent of female graduates in engineering and technology courses. In 2015, there was still only 14 per cent of female graduates in engineering courses. This sad statistic formed the basis of an impactful lecture by Chi Onwurah MP about the gender imbalance in Science, Technology, Engineering and Technology (STEM) subjects and subsequent careers.
This year's staff award winners have been announced.
The aim of the programme is to offer LJMU Managers, Programme Leaders and Personal Tutors further support and guidance, in relation to; operating more confidently and effectively, whilst developing themselves and their staff/students positively.
The penultimate day of LJMU's 2016 Summer Graduation Ceremonies took place at Liverpool Cathedral on Thursday 14 July.
