   The Novel and Bio-Based Materials Research Group are involved in civil engineering and infrastructure construction materials, sustainable pavement engineering and asphalt technology, cement and concrete research, ceramic materials and more.    The interconnected research theme of the group is the prevention and cure of human diseases. We look at: synthetic organic medicinal chemistry, natural products drug discover, photochemistry, nutraceuticals and food supplements, pharmacology and toxicology.
