   Following the call for nominations, eight candidates are standing for election, with the election period opening on Monday 5 June and running until Monday 19 June.

9. Lecture founder returns to reflect upon 25 years of the Roscoe

   Professor the Lord David Alton returned to St George’s Hall with hundreds of guests from across Liverpool and the LJMU community to reflect on the Roscoe Lecture Series.

10. LJMU presented with silver award for support of the Armed Forces community

    The university was celebrated alongside other Northwest-based organisations for its commitment to the Armed Forces community at the Defence Relationship Management (DRM) Merseyside Silver Awards 2023.
