1. New website course search function

   This week marks the launch of an exciting new development to our website. A project group have been working with an external agency (Sagittarius) to improve the course search function.

   All Professional Services staff have until 5pm on Monday 27 March to vote for their preferred Staff Governor candidate.

   LJMU academics are teaming up with the Church for a one-day symposium on peace.

7. Literacy programme supports Filipino community during pandemic and beyond

   Senior Education Lecturer Dr Judith Enriquez has helped the community of Alapasco in the Philippines to continue to develop their literacy skills despite the challenges posed by the pandemic.

8. Children’s Laureate delivers Roscoe Lecture

   The Roscoe Lecture, named ‘What do you think about when you think of nothing?’ entails the strange concept that meditating and clearing the mind often throws up a lot of questions- which is exactly what you are not meant to be doing

9. New Staff Gardening Group

   The School of Biological & Environmental Sciences has been working on a project to improve Byrom Street Campus with 10 urban wildlife gardens.
