2. Transgender Awareness Workshop 

   LJMU's Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Team are proud to be working in partnership with Subject Matter Expert; GenderSpace and are pleased to offer LJMU/JMSU Staff the opportunity to participate in a virtual, half day (three hour) Transgender Awareness Workshop.

3. Volunteer opportunities with Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal

   Student volunteers to collect for the charity over the Remembrance period - now until 11 November.

4. New Reading List Management System Launched.

   In January 2015 Library Services piloted the use of a reading list management system, Rebus:List with 27 academics across the University with a soft launch that Summer.

5. Staff Car Parking Update

   Following a recent review of LJMU staff car parking provision, the university will continue to subsidise staff car parking until 31 August 2023.

   A new project combining cutting edge astronomy with performance art was premiered at the European Week of Astronomy & Space Science (EWASS), organised by the European Astronomical Society and the Royal Astronomical Society in Liverpool on 3rd April.

7. Graduate and Placement Recruitment Fair – 10 March, 12-3pm, Student Life Building

   Students from any programme or level of study are invited to attend this fair to meet and network with 50+ employers offering internships, placements and graduate roles.

   LJMU has awarded 21 VC PhD Studentship awards to exceptional students at the university.

    A programme to keep teenage girls active during lockdown has found it significantly boosted their strength, fitness, motivation and body image.
