1. New ES1 form available for managers

   The Finance team has recently updated the ES1 form used to assess contractors against HMRCs off-payroll working rules (sometimes called IR35).

2. Could your team offer a work experience placement?

   Our work experience programme is looking for expressions of interest from staff and teams across the university for a Year 10 pupil to undertake a placement within your department.

3. LJMU Diversity and Inclusion Calendar 2023 for students

   LJMU’s Diversity and Inclusion Calendar is now available as a resource to all students on the LJMU website.

4. Scheme helps LJMU employ more local people of colour

   A new scheme, Positive Action Training (PAT), helping local people of colour enter employment at LJMU has been launched by the Vice-Chancellor (interim).

6. Scholarships for new students

   Every year we award a range of scholarships from £1,000 to £5,000 that don't need to be paid back!
