   On Wednesday 15 June, LJMU celebrated the work of women in football at the inaugural meeting of the Football Exchange Women's Network (FExWN). 6. Graduation review: Friday 12 July 2019

   As graduation week ended, the final graduands of July 2019 arrived at Liverpool Cathedral with their friends and families to receive their awards.

7. Researchers launch 'world's most advanced nutritional' app

   PhD student David Dunne has worked with Harlequins, QPR and the Ryder Cup team to maximise the physical potential of athletes. Together with ex-PhD Sam Impey, David has raised £450k to launch training companion app Hexis, claimed to be the world's most intelligent nutrition system. He spoke to us to explain more.

   We have received the sad news that our former Energy and Environment Manager Bob Steventon passed away earlier this week.

9. Students given unique insight into production of BBC Radio Merseyside’s longest running programme

   LJMU's MA Mass Communications students went behind the scenes at BBC Radio Merseyside for a studio tour, followed by an 'in conversation' event with Mike Brocken, presenter of Folkscene, Radio Merseyside's longest running programme.

10. First-of-its-kind Jamaican art exhibition opening in Liverpool

    The first exhibition of wholly Jamaican art to be displayed in North-West England will find its home in Liverpool this spring. The exhibition has been curated by Dr Emma Roberts, Associate Dean for Global Engagement for the Faculty of Arts, Professional and Social Studies at LJMU.
