The Journalism department at Liverpool John Moores University is pleased to be hosting a free one-day conference on EDI in Journalism education on 26 June.
The School of Sport and Exercise Sciences is committed to supporting the UK-wide volunteer STEM Ambassador Programme, co-ordinated nationally by STEMNET and managed locally by MerseySTEM (includes Cheshire). Ami is an engineer with a passion for sailing. She is a graduate of the university’s BSc (Hons) Product Innovation and Development programme and has since gone on to make history as a member of the first all-female team to win an around the world yacht race on the Maiden yacht.
Alex Brooker is an LJMU alumni and Honorary Fellow. He is a role model and inspiration for people of all ages and backgrounds, but particularly for those with disabilities, as he himself was born with hand, arm and leg disabilities. He has attained huge success as a journalist and is renowned as a writer and television presenter.
As a part of the Qualitative Analysis in Action project, you are invited to read the interviews with women who are making positive changes to education in Nepal. The interviews help us to gain a better understanding of these women's unique and inspirational lives.
