1. Skin function and morphology: effects of age and physical activity

   Within the School of Sport and Exercise Sciences, we're looking to recruit volunteers for a skin function study.

   Our interest lies in the evolution of animal societies and the interactions that occur within these societies and their link to emotion, cognition and communication. We primarily study primates (including humans) but also other species including birds.    Faculty colleague Andrew Kennedy has kindly offered to share his experiences of using shared documents on Office 365 both to support student group assessments and also to facilitate active and engaging shared writing and proof reading activities.

   This Continuing Professional Development (CPD) course will develop your skills and expertise in the evaluation of an area of healthcare practice or service provision and formulation of action plans to improve standards.

10. Lorraine Shaw

    Lorraine Shaw was the Subject Lead for Nursing in the School of Nursing and Allied Health from 2013 until her retirement in 2023. As a registered nurse since 1987, practising in a range of clinical areas, her ties with LJMU began in 1992 when she needed a degree to progress with her career and enrolled with LJMU while continuing to work full-time for the NHS, and later venturing into teaching and management.
