1. Degree Shows 2020 go virtual

   Around 250 graduating artists and designers are reaping the rewards of a huge technological effort to exhibit all final year work on digital platforms as LJMU adapts to the new normal.

   The NHS Merseyside Health Sector Career and Engagement Hub is running the Empower programme - a pre-employment transition workshop for second and final year LJMU students on the Autism spectrum.

   LJMUs Faculty of Engineering and Technology plays host to the major players in the housing and construction industry on January 19-21.

4. Reciprocal Mentoring Programme involving BAME Staff, Black Students and Senior Leaders

   Given the success of last year's pilot, we are running the LJMU Reciprocal Mentoring Programme again and we are extending it to include BAME staff from across the institution. The programme is open to all LJMU Senior Staff from Director Level of non BAME Background and to BAME staff from non-Director Level and to Black Students from all Faculties.

5. Additional workshops available for leaders and managers

   The Organisational Development teams’ LJMU Leadership Enhancement And Development (LEAD) programme has added another two workshop sessions.

6. Advance HE Aurora Programme final days to apply

   LJMU staff are reminded that the application deadline for the Advance HE Aurora Programme, a leadership development initiative for women, is Friday 4 November 2022.
