8. Immersive museum performances by LJMU drama students a triumph

   Drama students performed three consecutive performances last month at the Western Approaches Museum as part of the Battle of the Atlantic 80th anniversary commemorations, which culminate this May across Liverpool.

9. Teaching student creates new braille for her visually-impaired pupils

   Enterprising Jade Smith, from St Helens on Merseyside, says the pre-braille method is already being used by youngsters in Liverpool, Lancashire, London, Wales and even in Missouri, in the US.
