   Together with our partner universities around the world LJMU are offering our students the exciting opportunity to take part in one of our international Better Futures Summer Schools. 3. All about STEM – Face to Face with Sport and Exercise Sciences

   The School of Sport and Exercise Sciences is committed to supporting the UK-wide volunteer STEM Ambassador Programme, co-ordinated nationally by STEMNET and managed locally by MerseySTEM (includes Cheshire). The programme enables anyone with Science, Technology, Engineering or Maths (STEM) skills to inspire young people and demonstrate the possibilities of STEM subjects and careers.

4. Leadership Development Programmes

   The Centre of Educational Leadership will host programmes that assist leaders and organisations to improve and excel in their practice.

5. Faculty of Science Pedagogic Research Group

   The Faculty of Science Pedagogic Research Group is interested in education-related research within sciences and beyond. The group consists of academic staff from three science Schools and service teams with the Faculty and Registry.

6. Sexual and reproductive health

   HIV services and prevention work within the North West of England utilise the Public Health Institute's interactive tools, databases, and intelligence work. We offer assistance through evaluations and research into: contraception, teenage pregnancy, STDs, young people's health. 10. Race Equality Charter

    Liverpool John Moores University joined the Race Equality charter in 2022 and was first presented with an Institutional Bronze Award in 2022, in recognition of ongoing work relating to race equality.
