   A new suite of workshops and support has been launched to help you develop your leadership and management skills.

   The Diversity and Inclusion event held at the Student Life Building this week ‘Cultivating Representation: If you can see it, you can be it’ was open to all staff and students to celebrate South Asian (SA) and East South-east Asian (ESEA) Heritage Month.

   Nominations for the Vice-Chancellor’s Awards for Excellence in Research and Knowledge Exchange 2023 are now open.

4. Research outcomes: data repository support and arts output gathering

   Our Research Engagement Team within Library Services wants to know more about your research outcomes and is sharing new guidance on using the LJMU data repository.

5. Black History Month 2023

   Our Diversity and Inclusion team explains this year’s theme of Black History Month: Saluting our Sisters and Matriarchs in Black History

6. New innovation support for city region businesses

   LJMU is a partner in a new programme to support and encourage businesses in the Liverpool City Region to increase innovation practice and investment in research and development.

7. Additional workshops available for leaders and managers

   The Organisational Development teams’ LJMU Leadership Enhancement And Development (LEAD) programme has added another two workshop sessions.

8. Applications now open for Advance HE Aurora Programme 2024

   Applications are now being taken for a leadership development initiative for women.

9. UKRI open access policy changes from 1 January 2024

   The open access policy applies to monographs, book chapters and edited collections associated with UKRI funding published from 1 January 2024.

10. Join us in celebrating South Asian Heritage Month and beyond
