1. Graduation review: Thursday 21 November 2019

   Day two of graduation week saw more than 750 students receive their awards across two ceremonies at Liverpool Cathedral.

2. Accolades for students at Graduate Fashion Week

   BA Fashion Design and Communication students have been making their mark in the fashion industry with their collections at Graduate Fashion Week. A fantastic number of students were shortlisted for prestigious awards and two won their categories.

3. Graduation review: Friday 15 July 2016

   The last day of LJMU's 2016 Summer Graduation Ceremonies took place at Liverpool Cathedral on Friday 15 July.

4. Student sport coach stars in film with refugee football friends

   Sport psychology masters student Ellie Fox has appeared in a short documentary about the inspirational refugee football team based in Toxteth that she has volunteered with for the past three years.

5. Applications open for Research England Policy Support Fund

   LJMU is being allocated funding from the Research England Policy Support Fund (PSF) to support the development of impactful research and engagement activities. Applications of up to £10,000 will be considered and applicants have until 5pm on Monday 10 October 2022 to make a submission.

6. Hybrid working guidance

   Following the initial launch of hybrid working last year, our HR team has now shared its Hybrid Working Guidance.

7. LJMU's sustainability recognised

   LJMUs commitment to sustainability and the environment has been recognised with a significant rise up the national ranking of universities.

8. LJMU success at Greater China Awards 2022

   The university has won accolades for its work with China, as part of the UK's Department for International Trade Greater China Awards 2022.

9. New hub of wellbeing events for students and staff

   We've launched the ‘Looking after your wellbeing’ event hub on the LJMU website to bring together all the different events happening across the university and help you look after your wellbeing.

10. Training for managers/personal tutors on disabilities and long-term health conditions, including mental health

    The aim of the programme is to offer LJMU Managers, Programme Leaders and Personal Tutors further support and guidance, in relation to; operating more confidently and effectively, whilst developing themselves and their staff/students positively.
