3. Women in football celebrated at inaugural LJMU networking event

   On Wednesday 15 June, LJMU celebrated the work of women in football at the inaugural meeting of the Football Exchange Women's Network (FExWN). The event brought together network members, delegates and industry speakers to celebrate their contributions to the sport and to challenge the realms of what is considered possible.

4. Nursing wins UK Student Satisfaction award

   Nursing students at LJMU are officially the most satisfied in the country as voted for by our own students!

5. LJMU students help refugees at the Polish/Ukrainian border

   MA Wildlife Conservation students Vanessa Grundy, 27 and Alex Donnelly, 27 along with Vanessa's brother Mike Grundy are currently at the Poland-Ukraine border helping refugees get to safe accommodation in Krakow, and further across Europe, following Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

6. Appointment of Vice-Chancellor and Chief Executive

   Mark Power confirmed as Vice-Chancellor and Chief Executive of Liverpool John Moores University.

7. Lecturer featured in NHS exhibition

   A lecturer from LJMU is featured in a fantastic exhibition celebrating NHS workers in Merseyside.

8. Graduation review: Friday 12 July 2019

   As graduation week ended, the final graduands of July 2019 arrived at Liverpool Cathedral with their friends and families to receive their awards.

9. LJMU Marks National Inclusion Week (2020)

   National Inclusion Week runs from the 28th Sep - 4th Oct 2020 and gives you the opportunity to demonstrate your commitment to inclusion in and outside of the LJMU community.

10. Hundreds of local school pupils get taste of university

    LJMU welcomed almost five hundred Year 11 pupils to its Future Focus Days as part of the Universitys sustained widening access programme, giving young people an insight into the opportunities Higher Education can offer.
