3. Art and Science Exchange

   On Tuesday 27th & Wednesday 28th August 2019, the MA Art in Science programme at Liverpool School of Art and Design hosted an Art & Science Exchange workshop with members of the Biochemical Society. The exchange was held at the John Lennon Art and Design Building, in the Public Exhibition Space and X-Gallery amongst the MA Art in Science student's end of programme postgraduate exhibition, which showcases the outcomes of their three month research projects. These projects served as a basis for investigation of specific art-science interactions, and were supported by open discussions, hands on activities and a Liverpool LASER talk.

4. Raising environmental awareness among schoolchildren

   LJMU has been awarded funding to help raise awareness and understanding of the climate, the environment and nature among schoolchildren in the Liverpool City Region.

5. Scientists deliver sustainable mining workshop in the Philippines

   Dr Patrick Byrne and Dr Emma Biles from LJMUs School of Biological and Environmental Sciences recently delivered a week-long sustainable mining workshop in the Philippines

6. Masters student offers young people some neuro love

   Young peoples mental health is being tested in this pandemic like never before, according to postgraduate student Shaunna Devine.

7. Maritime SuperSkills Project

   Event to celebrate the successful completion of the project at the Maritime Museum, Royal Albert Dock on 13th June 2019. Attended by Iain McKinnon, Secretary Maritime Skills Alliance, local and national employers and LJMU staff who have helped with the project.

8. LJMU Assessment 4 – 14 January 2022

   As we approach our assessment period early next year, this note is to provide you with important preparation information and to confirm that exams will take place in person (with the exception of Levels 3 and 4).

9. Fox Street Village

   The University is working closely with Liverpool Student Homes over an issue that has arisen in a property known as Fox Street Village.
