5. Sport science knowledge exchange with former PhD student

   LJMU’s School of Sport and Exercise Sciences recently welcomed former PhD student Dr Niels Feddersen on to campus for a research and knowledge exchange visit.

6. LJMU team takes on Kilimanjaro

   A team of 17 self-named Kilimanscousers including LJMU Students, LJMU alumni and Liverpool professionals will climb Kilmanjaro this August.

7. Open Data Week 2024: unlocking the power of data in research

   Join a week of online events and workshops from Monday 21 to Friday 25 October.

8. Invictus Games UK team members get support from LJMU sport scientists

   Strength and conditioning training as well as nutritional advice and access to gym facilities is on offer for two Merseyside-based competitors.

9. Support for care experienced students to be enhanced beyond graduation

   A £50,000 donation will be used to help end the ‘care cliff’ for LJMU students as they finish their studies.

10. Women in football celebrated at inaugural LJMU networking event

    On Wednesday 15 June, LJMU celebrated the work of women in football at the inaugural meeting of the Football Exchange Women's Network (FExWN). The event brought together network members, delegates and industry speakers to celebrate their contributions to the sport and to challenge the realms of what is considered possible.
