  1. LJMU partners with L8 community celebration

    On Saturday 25 June, staff and students from LJMU will join hundreds of people at Firefit Community Hub (115 Upper Warwick Street, L8 8HD) in Toxteth for a community fair and celebration of everyone and everything that makes L8 so unique.

  2. April is Autism Acceptance Month

    Bethany Donaghy, PhD student at LJMU, shares her personal experience with autism, describes common misconceptions, and talks about diagnosis and support.

  3. Maritime SuperSkills Project

    Event to celebrate the successful completion of the project at the Maritime Museum, Royal Albert Dock on 13th June 2019. Attended by Iain McKinnon, Secretary Maritime Skills Alliance, local and national employers and LJMU staff who have helped with the project.

  4. LJMU VC PhD Scholarships

    The scheme has supported more than 100 high-class doctoral students in becoming part of our vibrant research community, which is delivering world-leading and internationally-excellent research across the institution.

  5. Hate Crime Awareness

    Hate Crime Awareness Week is an important time to remind ourselves what constitutes a hate crime and what support is available both on and off campus.

  6. Volunteer for Claire House

    Our corporate charity Claire House is looking for volunteers on Saturday 29 February and Sunday 1 March at the welcoming of HMS Prince of Wales on the Liverpool Waterfront.

    LJMU has been part of a successful consortium bid for funds to improve opportunities for Black, Asian and minority ethnic students to undertake postgraduate research.
