Our brand new Student Life Building is open and to celebrate all our students being back on campus weve got lots of FREE and exciting activities planned for induction week (W/C 20th September).

The CHAT this month meets Heather Thrift, Director of Library Services, to talk about the digital future, pushing the boundaries of customer service and an exciting new library in the SLB.
A mini-conference highlighting developments in decolonial approaches to teaching and research across the university featuring three sessions of talks and discussion on decolonising pedagogy, assessment and research methods, will take place in November.
The university will close at 5pm on Thursday 23 December and reopen at 9am on Tuesday 4 January. The Student Life Building will be open 24/7 throughout the festive break including on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.
